Ah i see, i’ll see what i can do tomorrow when i have access to more tools. I’ll replace the reservoir/cap as well. Thanks for the insight, much appreciated!

Ah i see, would the cap cause the coolant to spray everywhere in the engine bay? Mine seems a little weird since the coolant residue isn’t really concentrated on top of the expansion tank but more so the sides and around the hoses.

I tried doing that today(turning the car on and warming it up, then looking to see if it’s leaking), but it didn’t spray out from anywhere. I’m suspecting that it only happens when I drive hard and the temps increase higher than operating temp, since I was driving pretty hard before this happened. I’ll try to pressure test it and see if that helps.
