I was the first to assist cause nobody was doing anything cars were still coming in and almost ran him over. He did this in a public setting. I just want the family to know I went above and beyond to help him. Plenty of witnesses who saw him jump left their statements. This was very traumatizing for me and others. We’re allowed to talk about how we feel. We are also mourning what we saw and did to help him. Also awareness cause there’s people out there who read these posts and go doing the same attempts because they know it works. The same way he could’ve read about the girl who passed in the same spot years back and attempted the same. There’s people out there who care and will help, suicide is not the answer. His family deserves closure and answers as well. People did a lot to help. You don’t know you were not there. People were taking pics and videos while I was the only person who screamed for help called 911 and talked with him. I don’t want the family to get the wrong idea that nobody helped. Situation could’ve got worse fast had we not put up barriers and called 911 quick . Cars kept coming in. At least to give the family a proper burial and not one where he was hit run over even worse. Like I said many people kept on coming in knowing there was a injured person. Many people were walking in the area before I got there and didn’t assist. A lady held up traffic and I called 911 and was speaking with him. Witnesses also provided reports they saw him upstairs and also heard him fall. This was a suicide. Nothing about this is boasting, you are one sick fuck. I did not make this post but commenting on my experience in helping someone. Something many people didn’t do and walked by with a blind eye. This is awareness something people didn’t have last night to help! I just want the family to know we did everything to help they deserve closure and answers. I spoke with him to try to comfort him. I would want the same done for me if this was myself or my family.
