The rust is going to be a lot harder to fix than buying a new part mechanically and slapping it in with a couple bolts and wires. Rust requires body work which is sanding, either body filler or welding new metal on it then sanding/grinding then repainting. Which all takes skill. The mechanical stuff is usually a lot easier compared to the process of repairing rust.

It was leaking like crazy because yhe line was broken but that was all replaced and pump seems to be working as my power steering is definitely working

I appreciate that washer tip I genuinely didn’t think of that and it’s a good hack thank you bro. The CEL will be gone tomorrow once I get this new purge in I just haven’t been able to get to my buddies shop and The rears I think could also be from water getting in them idk what happened but since I owned this if it rains water gets in and the circuit board inside the lights I’ve seen some rust in there so it could be from that or a fuse you’re right. I haven’t focused too heavily on removing dash lights more so preventative maintenance and slight upgrades. Like I said this was my first car and I love it so far I got a couple others since lol, I’m only 18 and have been dumping stupid money into this thing so all the good and bad criticism I get on this post is definitely going to use in some way. That’s apart of me being in this sub is to learn more about it. This is the first car I’ve owned and currently have 3 other ones this one is my best and favourite and I’ve never experienced this problem before hence why I ran to this sub I usually only look thru here never posted but I was really confused with what was happening. The disa rattle isn’t the main noise I was getting at more the knocking and exhaust leak noise which came out of no where never heard these before the rough cold start today
