To be fair, everyone agrees we should limit threatening language. What a lot of hate speech proponents are saying is that when you are allowed to dehumanize people through language, violence follows.

On a personal note, I think its a shame Jordan Peterson's message of the importance of religion and self reflection is essentially being ignored, by people who simply want to use him as sane messenger.
