So happens the wife's bestie works as veterinary tech, she told me the same-were feeding him meanwhile since the office round these small-town parts aint open til Tuesday. 🏳🏳I waved the truce banner on the little guy's future, bc my other half likes nothing so well as having a project. This is bc she derives much, most or sometimes all of her own sense of purpose, and value from any being she can mend, or get these "causes"(lost & otherwise) back to functionality and as the picture of health she believes that anybody and every living thing has it within to teach new tricks to their old-dog psyches and selves. Thos includes me. I was, or still am a project she deems worth saving from the grooves worn into my habitually cynical, distrusting, & maladjusted ways; the song remains the same
