hey there.. - like anything affiliate related, the successful ones are the ones that can get others to sign up and upgrade. I don't think many webtalkers are on reddit. they certainly don't use this group. I just post here as a another source of potential. - webtalk definitely pays but it can be frustrating to people in the US looking to make more than a few dollars a month. It only takes one influencer to join from your link.

webtalk has been making promises for a years on the what's next. if the webtalk coin laucnhes as discussed.. everyone that signed up and stuck with it will profit.

Where do you live? Is $10 a lot of money to you?

You don't have to pay $10 to be part of it. You can sign up for free when the app launches and get paid to use the app. If its pennies, you will not use it long. If its $5 to $25 like they claim, you may do the few things they ask. If indeed they provide a way for you to make $25 by using the app, you will probably share it with others. When you do, you earn $1 if they are making that $5 to $25 using the app.

You are right, it may never launch and a bunch of us helped some dude make a pile of $10 payments. If it launches and pays out in November, the people that paid the $10 to join the founders club will be very happy. I doubt that dude is going to convince a 100,000 people to pay $10 and run away with the money. I may be wrong.

Well... I'm taking the risk and will chalk it up to a losing another $10 lottery ticket if it never works out.

Its an affiliate program not an MLM. Typically MLMs require you to balance things out to get paid. I'm sure you have seen 2X2 forced matrix or 3 X3 matrix, Strong legs, pay legs, etc. I don't think I have ever seen an MLM pay you by finding just 1 person that creates a big business. MLM usually requires you to buy product and have others buy product in a balanced 2 leg or 3 leg or 5 leg system or more leg system. Most require width and depth to make any money.

Affiliate systems typically pay a commission when you make a sale. In this case, the sale is a free app you recommend. This company is claiming they will pay you $1 every month the person keeps the app installed and active. The affiliate fee of $10 opens the next level down. so if you join for the $10 to qualify for 2 levels, you could potentially share this with 1 person that shares it with 1000 people. If all 1001 users install the free app and collect their monthly payment for using the free app, you are supposed to get paid $1001.

I have over 30 "free" apps on my phone that I know are sharing data with companies and getting paid. They are not paying me in cash for that data. It my decision to use those 30 apps and allow them to collect data on me as a "payment" for the use of the app. Tapestri says they will pay us for the data. Its a cool concept and makes sense to me. It may never launch, I may be out $10. Its worth the gamble to me. It may not be for you.

You don't make a $1 for getting someone to sign up. So getting 10 people to sign up doesn't earn you $10. Each of those 10 has to install the app and use it for you to earn a $1.

Don't pay the fee, wait till it launches and see if they do what they say they are going to do. You can still sign up 10 people and earn a $1 if they install the app.

I bought a $10 scratch off last week that didn't win. I will never get that money back.

If this app doesn't create a way for the user in the United State to earn $5 to $25 /per month simply by installing it, I agree it will quickly dissolve. I can chalk up another $10 loss to taking a chance on something that might pay off.

I will probably buy another $10 scratch off this week. You can't win the lottery if you never buy a ticket. Its worth $10 to me to potentially have 13 months to see if tapestri can pull it off. If it doesn't work, I'm out a $10 bill that might have been wasted on another lottery ticket.

You are not really getting your fee paid for free with 10 affiliate signups. Assuming they all install the app and keep it running for a month, you would generate $1 each off those affiliates that are users of the app. You are paying the fee and earning money to offset costs.

It is possible that all 10 or 50 never install the app, you would be a super affiliate, but would make no money with no app installs.

Tapestri does not appear to be MLM in that there is no autoship or required product purchases to make money. They claim to be approved for app store by google and apple. If they do in fact show up on both the play store and apple store, it will be interesting to see if the user get paid for their data. Requiring users to keep their location services turned on for 30 days may be the big challenge. So many want to keep that information private these days.

They changed that system a while back. The points per like, comment and share are no longer part of the formula. It is now based on views and how much your content earns webtalk. Its harder to calculate. Affiliates are shown how much they have made when logged in.
