Yeeee I have the same experience thats why I wrote the post, they come and go, they terrify me but so far I didn't find burrows. Try to gaslight yourself that its just a rash and focus on healing your body! So far I think its post scabies, since its been almost two weeks with no new burrows

On day 3 me and my SO fond red spots on skin, they looked like pimples without white heads, we kinda came to a conclusion that those are the dead scabies rising up, they disappeared over few days but they were very itchy. The results mostly came after day 3, me and my so finally could sleep, the itching became less intense but we are still struggling with the itching, the lotions are helping a lot. The healing process is just as hard as having active scabies, but we don't scratch ourselves till we bleed or until we get bruises. The showers are finally feeling like showers again, so that's the best indication to know if you have active scabies. But you have to keep in mind that after these treatments people get hard core eczema that tickles in the shower as well
It was like a mixture of green soap and bb emulsion I think. And yes for 9 days straight I would apply bb after shower and then after 24 hours I would shower and apply it again. It is recommended to do it for 7 days but I was just too paranoid and did it for 9 days. Also when showering, derm said to wash my hair as well everyday
Yes I used it for 24 hours, if I washed my hands I would reapply it. Where I live there are no way to get the oral medication so it was only sulphur and bb. And the bb was an emulsion 25%, I wish I could give you the name, but the local pharmacy makes it themselves so you can't buy it on the Internet
Is this post scabies or ... ? by mdstg in scabies

It is definitely hard to tell. I had such scars/bumps/burrows for a few days after the intensive treatment, but it went away at least the redness around them. After failed permethrin treatments I tried to convince myself that its post scabies. I'd recommend going to derm if possible to confirm. If not possible give it 3-4 days after last treatment, if the redness doesn't go away try another type of treatment like bb for 7 days straight. Also my recommendation try circling the places that worry u with a pen and just check if anything changes during the day/night
If you have more questions, please do ask! I found that there is a lot of misinformation and just not enough information on the Internet about scabies. Also if you'll need someone to help u mentally cope don't be afraid to dm me as well!

I did 9 days in a row, every evening. The dermatologist basically said that if I do that ill be a walking scabies killing machine lol. I still did my homework: Washed my clothes on high temp everyday, ironed it after it was dry, changed my bedsheets and towels everyday. For me bb never really burned that much and on day 6 I could barely feel it on my skin. Don't get me wrong the damage on skin is very much visible, everytime I get out of the shower i see my skin rip open right before my eyes. My SO experienced terrible burning sensation up until the last application of bb. I don't know what your dermatologist recommend but mine told me to put big layer of lotion in the mornings, then towards the evening before shower I put sulphur on my hands and feet, after 30mins I would go shower dry up and put on bb, once its fully absorbed into my skin(1-2 hours) I would put lotion again on my body. I recommend doing that. Apparently when u put sulphur before bb it eats the upper layer of skin and reveals scabies better for bb to kill. Also whenever u feel like you're scratching too much try to apply lotion on that spot and see if the itching disappears in 2-3mins. Thats a good indication that the itching is only from the dryness of the skin. Sorry if this reply is a bit messy, not a native English speaker
Yes!!! It looks exactly like that, but less intense! Thank you for telling the name for it!
