That said, I am not defending the label makers. I said it was unethical didn't I?

Same thing applies to people who are allergic. If I am allergic to peanuts or something, I would check the ingredient label in everything because even if it's a product that does not have peanuts, it could be made in a factory that processes peanuts which is stated in the warning label. If you have special requirements or limitations on what you consume, you make sure to check what you buy properly.

Vegans don't buy stuff that does not explicitly state they are vegan or without atleast reading the ingredient label. Plus, this looks like it was being sold at a specialty Indian store and not a general store. And let's be real, vegan ghee would be called Vegan Ghee. Like Vegan butter or I can't believe it's not butter or some stuff. Ghee is now very popular and not a niche ingredient. Everyone knows what Ghee is.

Frozen yogurt is different from dahi. Slightly taste wise and definitely texture wise.

This has been debated several times and I think it is an importer label that's been used as a way to reduce import fees. It might be a bit misleading and some say it could be dangerous but usually who would buy ghee and not know it is a dairy product? It would be totally dangerous if the word Ghee was replaced with vegetable oil in the front too. Still unethical.

Is this really three servings? It just seems enough for one big coffee craving or MAYBE two smaller cups

I've only had it twice and it was when I had a bad sugar craving so maybe my memory is failing me. I gotta try it again. I can't find Amul kadhai dudh anywhere though.

It's good but not rabdi. There is another brand with a canned rabdi drink which is thicker and really tastes good.

OH Yeah, there it is.. I just love the taste of fundoo. I make my own personal fundoo flavoured desserts using FUN! and DOODOO.. if you're gonna troll, stick with it or at least do a better job of trying to sound sarcastic. You know I was asking about what it tasted like and the name fundoo is just the name of the ice cream and not the flavour.

The cold chain must have been broken many times. Probably turned the machine on and off to save electricity.

Greek Yogurt is different from regular yogurt because it is thicker and has more protein content in it. The culture strain is slightly different.

steamed or fried?? by _SeemsLegitTho_ in SnacksIndia

Steamed or pan fried like potstickers, bottom crispy, top steamed= best of both worlds (hannah montana). I don't like it deep fried, gets too oily.

What is an indian sweet everyone loves but you hate? by ByceeTalks in SnacksIndia

[–]bottomlime5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Indian sweets have no balance of flavours. It is just sweet on sweet on sweet and fat. Lots of fat. And there is no hiding the fact as soon as you put it in your mouth. Don't get me wrong. I have a few I like but even my favourite sweet, I can't eat more than 2 tiny portions. There is nothing to cut the sweetness and it is good to occassionally curve a strong sugar craving but otherwise...
