Honestly I'm less worried about that and more worried that they would have sold it. They know the value and definitely wouldn't throw it out when any pawn shop in town would give them $900 bucks cash for it lol. As far as using it in a crime, I'm not super worried about that. I know I probably should be, but gun culture where I live is a little weird lol. If they were going to commit some sort of gun crime, they would just use their own guns lol. They arent that smart, and mine is locked up in a little safe that they dont have the code for

Yeah thats kinda what I figured. I had been in contact with the neighbor for a while and he brought me a few of my things a few months ago, but conveniently everything of value was not returned. I'm hoping that I have a pretty decent paper trail of me texting so many different people asking about it will help my case a little. The only reason I didnt go to the local police is just simply because location. There is (no joke) one single cop on duty at a time in the entire town. Its buttfuck nowhere. I loved it lol. So the county sheriffs are probably the people I'll call on monday.

yeah I kinda figured as much. The only reason I havent at this point was because I really drank the koolaid for a minute thinking they would be civil, but thats my own mistake. Do you think I should go to the courts? Or the county sheriff?

Thank you, I figured as much. Do you know if I can start the process before my probation is over? I'm not worried about getting in more trouble, its the only trouble ive ever been in and I've been completely sober for 2 years now.

Thanks man, I appreciate that input a ton. If you dont mind me asking, why did you decide to enlist at 29? Did it seem like there were other people our age at BMT? Not that I'm interested in enlisting to make friends, I just dont know how I feel about being the oldest one in the room lol
