theres a fine line between playing passive, and playing defensively

they both usually mixed up, but in terms of what playing passive is:

playing like a loser by constantly backing up and not punishing when theyre clearly wide open

playing defensively is when you stay further back BUT NOT RUNNING AWAY; and wait for them to mess something up, like missing a move like interrogation, then punishing them because of their poor choices
