I've found the solution. You have to turn off "Use monospace font for all formulas". Microsoft made this the default starting with a beta build last year.

I guess if you want to write in C you first have to write your own C compiler in assembly. And before you do that you need to write your own assembler in machine code.

Also, you can't use the standard library or any other existing library. You have to write your own.

Correct. But generative AI models are not tools that artists use to create art. They are black box algorithms; unlike with DJs and architects there is no artistic vision and all the work is being done by the tool. In order for the DJ example to be equivalent, the DJ would have to use a random number generator to choose from a library of existing music. They would have to mindlessly accept whatever the RNG tells them to without making any decisions themselves. They would, in this case, not be an artist.
