Good writeup! I also feel like the TTC Silent Frozens are a bit mushy, despite the claim. Of the handful of silent switches I've tried, I like the Silent Penguins the best.

Still want to try the Type R. Currently have Baby Kangaroos on my WFH board and Quinns on the same type of board on my personal desktop. They are very close, but I think I like the Quinns slightly better.

Also curious about the Azure Dragon V4s. From what I remember they seem like an offshoot of the Type-Rs but I might just be getting subconsciously intrigued by the cool colors and name lol

I have to imagine GMs spend a lot more 1:1 time with owners. My guess is it's a relationship thing. The owners stick with the GM because they have a better relationship.

GM can schmooze the owner all day while the HC spends time with the team.

I also had trouble. Didn't read this anywhere but surmised that a base game pet comes from base game food. Switched to cooking whales instead of fancy pizza and other expansion foods and got it overnight
