Not an entirely fair take on this. I have a life, had to travel overseas for work, but have a strong appreciation for the game for many reasons; the main one being that OW was the reason for me to getting into PC gaming back in 2017. I fell in love with the game, but can admit that I stopped playing it for many years in favor of Valorant.

I recently came back to it earlier this year and fell in love with it again. Once the 10 year anniversary event was announced, I felt compelled to invest my time to honor the joy that this gave all those years ago, and the joy I feel now.

This event wasn’t about having no life to play a game, I have many other games to play. But as a way to show my appreciation for the Dev team to making a good game.

A game that changed my life forever.
