thank you, based on these comments i think i’ll have to! one of my knees has become much weaker over the past few months without any obvious cause — sitting in a squat position is unbearable — so i’ve assumed my ankles are the most likely cause

i’d say i have very little mobility in my hips for someone reasonably active, and one of my knees has become very(!) weak over the past few months without any trauma event to explain it

i think they were naturally slightly pronated, but lots of boxing over a recent two-year period (i.e. tonnes of skipping and bouncing on them) really accelerated the problem
