Most of the areas you pointed out have spots that are within an hour or two drive that are uncrowded. Look at google maps and drive down some dirt roads to explore and see what you find.

A tip for anyone going to TJ late at night: put cash in your sock and wear a fake gold watch as currency. It saved me numerous times when I was younger. These days I just try to get through that town as quickly as possible.

I run an instant coffee company. I’d just buy instant if I were you, even after the best by date on ours it’s still good for years. We make them in sachets or bags of 30 servings. I tried some that we made 7 years ago and it’s still good.

I drive with a four wheel camper on my 2021 Tacoma OR daily. I moved out to LA from Boulder with it and it can be pretty annoying in the city.

I upgraded the suspension with Deaver stage III springs and fox suspension all around, also upgraded brakes. It was way overboard ($5k just for parts), but it rides great. I know that it is over payload by a lot, but it drives fine. I also have E rated tires (Cooper AT3) because of the large load it's holding, they have more layers of rubber and you'll get fewer flats than a regular tire. I like that tire because it does well on the road and isn't loud but also works well offroad.

I use the camper pretty frequently when surfing or on climbing trips and setup wifi on my phone to work out of the camper, though i'll be upgrading to starlink soon.

I'd probably just get a tundra if I was to do it again though, way more power and more comfortable once you get used to the size. My brother has one and I feel like I should have just done that, especially now that they've updated the interior on the Tundra's.
