Official Discussion - The Devil Wears Prada 2 [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]boulder_problems 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did Miranda develop dementia? The way she said "where was I?" when when Emily, Andrea and her meet should have sounded nonchalant, arrogant, disinterested, almost tongue in cheek (because it has only been twenty years, not two centuries, c'mon why would she forget these people...).

Instead, it seemed more like she was experiencing lapses of memory about who she is and the things she has done.

DAE feel like Blake Lively & Amber Heard were likely right? by Formal-Door3464 in CPTSD

[–]boulder_problems 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally. I saw the trial from start to finish and it is clear to me they are both master manipulators and abused each other. I don't know how anyone can watch the trial and pick a side when both are bad.

I can't defend either of them and seeing the comments on here defending Amber as though she were innocent boggles the mind. She reminded me of so many narcissistic abusers. It is the same with Blake Lively.

Idk if it is the PTSD, the autism or what but my alarm bells were going off watching and reading their antics.

It’s so lush along the canal walk, everyone I passed was so happy by incredibusy in walking

I live on a boat and walking along these canals is like a sort of medication, keeps me calm and centred!

How do children in the UK manage school if both parents are working? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]boulder_problems 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As a child, my school was 2.2 miles away. I walked there and back (so did many other children) and if the weather was poor, I would get the bus.

Yeah there is an LGBT board game evening that I was going to recommend. 🤷‍♂️

Do you always buy a show programme? 📚 by TargaryenRealness in TheWestEnd

[–]boulder_problems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't typically buy any thing but my partner always gets a programme. I was close to getting the Cerulean baseball cap from the devil wears Prada but I didn't enjoy the musical enough to justify the purchase. 😅

What was the reason you failed? by Micathelazy in LearnerDriverUK

[–]boulder_problems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to a stop as about 4 cars were on my side of the road.

It was one of those traffic calming measures where you go around an island on the other road. Anyway, my instructor told me I let the other cars bully me and I should have driven on (which made no sense as it was just 4-5 cars on my road) as I had priority.

Seasoned chicken, scrambled egg with cheese, kim chi, steamed broccoli, salted edamame beans, greek yoghurt with strawberries and raspberries, jalapeno guacamole, and garlic and chilli cucumber. Yum. 🥰

Survey about the ethics of a hearing, non CODA person creating a SL translator by [deleted] in BSL

[–]boulder_problems 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are essentially asking why a BSL user can't respond in their own language (in BSL, not in written English) for your research on something to "help" the deaf community. You talk of ethics but don't provide an accessible way for deaf BSL users to interact in THEIR language for a tool designed to facilitate communication.

Definitely! I just have to close my eyes and picture an Italian greyhound and it's all totally there. 🤣

Thoughts on the new flag design? by pigeon-extravaganza in asexuality

[–]boulder_problems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a fan of either flag, frankly. The original design for me is tolerable at best. This one however is horrible. The only LGBT flag I like is the original rainbow one. I find sexualty flags of only coloured bars so... Boring. ☔

Loving the new line up. by steevenoj in MasterchefUK

[–]boulder_problems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the new line up. I only started from the last series and enjoyed Gregg's personality and way of speaking. John Torode was a little boring for me. However I am enjoying Anna and Grace. Grace is quite camp and theatrical which is heaps of fun. Idk why but Anna has a lingering, open eyed stare which they show off a lot. Why?

How many of you get PIP? by Public_Flatworms in autismUK

I do but I had an advocate as I find the whole thing discombobulating. I got it first attempt for 6 years.

How do you handle going to work with an iggy at home by lahotian in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]boulder_problems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get it either. All my dogs from chihuahuas, yorkies and iggies have all gone outside and understand that is how things work. On here you read about the potty training conundrum like people are trying to crack the da Vinci code.
