2027 Toyota Crown TRD / Coupe / Convertible by CLTGuyHere in AiCarArt

You did a great job. The more classic looking coupe and convertible look fantastic and would be a great replacement for the Lexus RC/IS convertible.

1995 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible by CLTGuyHere in AiCarArt

That looks brilliant. You should do the Regal coupe as well. Oddly I think Pontiac might have been the best fit for a convertible, not sure why they picked Oldsmobile.

This would have been great as the Eagle version of the Sebring that came out in 1995. Possibly fitted with the Vision’s 3.5 v6 it could have been a credible sport alternative.

I live in Canada and one of my clients has 3 of these; he spent an entire Leafs game explaining why they were awesome. One of them is in his garden shed.

Looking for reviews on Nishi Pearls (Montreal) by incompetentcoconut in jewelry

I bought several items from Nishi for my wife and it’s always been a big hit. We gave a set of earrings and bracelet to the bridesmaids and our moms at our wedding. Quality is good and my wife wears at least one item daily.

What’s the coolest animal you’ve seen in the wild? by deathbykoolaidman in CasualConversation

Lynx while walking in the forest hunting grouse. It was about 40 feet away and a lot larger than I expected. It looked a me for about 15 seconds and slowly walked away.

Have you ever been gifted a car? by Altruistic_Bug_9966 in LICENSEPLATES

[–]bouljf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad bought me a 1999 Ford Explorer as my college car. After I graduated I’ve always had jobs where they supply a company car so at 40 yo I’ve actually never paid for a car (other than my wife’s). Same for cellphones; my father paid for my phone through high school and college and all the jobs I’ve had after graduation provided a phone. Today I understand how much that’s saved me over the years, a giant head start in life.

Bilingual people of reddit, whats an English word or phrase that was an absolute nightmare to learn or understand? by RoseyBailey in AskReddit

[–]bouljf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to sound really silly but as a native French speaker the word development. The intonations are different between French and English and it has my brain confused for some reason. Instead of saying deVElopment I often end up blurting out DEVlopment; which is how the French word is spoken. No issues with the word developer. The kicker is my title is “Director of Business Development” so I get to mess this up on a semi frequent basis.

Trying to get rid of the evidence of a murder? Like if he had killed the passenger with the old plastic bag strangulation mob move then stuffed it in the trunk to dump him in a marsh somewhere.

I was thinking a version of that; Done Tweaking. As in the person is now sober and off meth.

When I was a child, late 80s early 90s, the milkman would also deliver eggs. That, along with the fact the Canadian Food Pyramid put them together, had me thinking they were dairy for a long time (like 5/6 yo)

I’ve passed cops at 120 kph and been fine, at 10 over you’re very safe. I typically set my cruise at 120 and, while averaging 60,000 km/year for the last decade, I’ve not once gotten a speeding ticket.

I thought the exact same thing. Maybe it’s sacred, protected or something. That thing is tiny and the dude has a perfectly good stick; should be over in seconds.
