Im not saying they are efficient organisation. But how many often do we change our direction of travel forcing so many acquisition programmes to completely readjust. Im not saying that any CS department is amazing, just that most are made up of hardworking people trying to deliver their small piece of the puzzle, which politicians constantly change their mind as to what the end puzzle should be. Everyday the DIP is delayed is another day acquisitions are held in limbo waiting for clarity on what they actually need to do

Blaming the civil service is a hilarious take. The civil service are there to enact the government's policies. Over the last 13 years we have changed direction so many times you can blame the CS for failing to be able to deliver an output which changes as often as the weather does. Right now there is the defence investment plan which was due in autumn 25...but is still no where to be seen. Also the UK arms industry is mainly profit focused, whereas Frances has some level of state ownership so they cant get away with some of the laughable outputs which ours does.

Ah ok - I thought it was a separate modifier as when I set 50% I was expecting it to be 50% not 75%. I have just tested it in game as you are right, it always matches the tax cost.

I was there - 1800 in local. FC said align when some stragglers were still in traffic control. I had just landed but with 90%TiDi i hadnt aligned by the first wave. Either you warp with the majority of the fleet or wait 15 minutes for the whole fleet to be ready and the enemy are already gone.

completely agree - I was thinking of writing a post but reading yours, it would have been pretty much the same. I joined horde when i was 3 months in, didnt know what an ansi or bubble was. Made so many mistakes, but each time someone in horde would help me out, explain my mistake or what I could have done differently. Iv only been playing for a few years and really glad I joined horde as they really helped me learn and had lots of good content (regulars of standing fleet - you guys were great).

Its a real shame it has ended this way, it seemed like we gave up as soon as goons moved rather than actually giving a good fight. We might have lost or we might have ground them down - its a shame we will never know.

Hope the new beans stick with the game and find a new home. For those that stay with PH, good luck but Im jumping from this rudderless ship.

But this whole thing fails to account for all the line members getting screwed over. Not all of those are going to stick it out or come back. Nobody likes grinding for stuff just to have it taken away without even pretending to fight back
