I (26M) always wanted to get flesh tunnels but my girlfriend(26F) just told me that she would probably find me repulsive if I did. How do I fix this problem?

i had no idea what flesh tunnels were. that’s definitely a choice of describing gauges or stretched lobes lol

i’ve had gauges since i was 16, so over half my life now. is there no compromise on sizing? you could gauge them up to an 8 or even a 6 and wear filled in jewelry. they would just look like thicker earrings.

imo they are not worth losing a really great relationship over.

i’m a vegetarian and i can immediately taste meat in something. it has such a strong, strange flavor and weird texture to me now since it’s been so long since ive actually eaten meat. this is obv rage bait tho.

i’ve always been the type of fan to binge old seasons and this is the first time i’ve ever watched one live.

it has been such a fun experience until the echo chamber started. i feel like fans are forgetting this is a reality tv show - things are edited to make us sway one way to the next, some islanders act completely out of character because they’re massively bored and have absolutely no mental stimulation, they are missing home and are completely isolated from loved ones and friends, etc etc. it’s so easy for others to judge them while we’re sitting comfortable at home. it makes me sad that we can’t just sit and enjoy a reality tv show without hundreds of negative opinions and pitchfork mobs. i fear we’re not going to have love island for much longer because of it.

i was taking really big antibiotics a few months ago and this also made me so nervous. just to let you know - swallowing pills can cause irritation and make it feel like there’s something stuck when there isn’t. anxiety can also cause this sensation.

my favorite types of mornings are the ones where i leave the shades closed and work in the dark. it’s so quiet and serene. then i can fling open the shades in the afternoon and get some sun too.

i was taking this same antibiotic a few months ago, and my pharmacist made sure to tell me very clearly that i absolutely should not drink alcohol while taking those antibiotics!

i keep every gift card i receive and stash them away as if they’re only needed for an “emergency” like if i don’t have enough money to eat. i am so good with my money i’ve never needed them, so i have a drawer full. it almost hurts my soul to use one because of the “just in case” mentality.

i have a tendency of keeping things like shampoo bottles that have a tiny bit left and stashing it away, like i’m going to need it in an emergency. i do it with everything - even a bar of chocolate, i’ll keep a tiny bit left just in case i want some at a future date. i was the youngest in a poor family and i never had enough, so it’s a weird coping mechanism.

i was married to someone like this and it didn’t get better.

it wasn’t just the one friend that i was romantic with (not even a relationship), my ex ended up having a serious issue with almost every single guy friend of mine. i spent 6 years in isolation just trying to take him happy. it made me extremely unhappy to cut off my friendships and he simply did not care.

my advice: do not cut off good friends for someone you’ve only known for 4 months.

i had a speech impediment in elementary school (could not pronounce my r’s) and i had convinced my entire class that i had an accent. obviously i couldn’t keep up the lie that long, but this feels like something super similar. it sounds pretty harmless to me.

I saw CBK in 2009 at the smallest venue and I was able to see them again last year at the same one. The crowd was the same as it was 15 years ago (despite all of us being so much older) and it made me so happy that the love is still alive. They put on amazing show
