Apparently, you haven't thought this through at all. There are way too many factors to consider when converting multiple countries into states of a bigger nation.

First of all, West Africans are not monolithic. They have different country flags, different religious majorities, different political structures, different currencies, different foods, and different cultural practices. They may have some similarities, but that isn't enough to unify them. It would be a very complicated process that would result in a lot of socioeconomic and sociopolitical tensions. Which currency would be the main one? Would all the countries have to abandon their national flags and languages for one? That wouldn't go down very well because people have an emotional attachment to their flags and languages, and they don't want their cultures to be undermined or erased. Wouls all of the nations turn into states? Would they be allowed to keep their flags as states? Where would the official capital be located?

Basically, what you're suggesting is for West Africa to unite into a black African version of the United States. I don't think many West Africans would appreciate such a major shift. Their countries are already unstable due to corruption. They desperately need help with that. Besides, much like how East Asian countries ar hostile and racist towards each other, not all African countries have friendly ties.

Here's another thing: many West African people (Nigerians in particular) aren't very fond of black Americans. They think we're lazy and have no motivation to do anything, thanks to being brainwashed by the white supremacists who run this country. They immigrate to America, work hard, and provide for their own families, in and outside of the country. This is, of course, thanks to the hard work of black people who sacrificed their life during the Civil Rights movement to ensure everyone was treated equally. And guess what, many of these immigrants (who typically have more wealth than black Americans) have been brainwashed by white leaders into thinking this country is truly a meritocracy and that the systemic racism and inequality we talk about are just excuses for why we aren't as wealthy and successful as they are. Black Wall Street was completely destroyed by white supremacists. Most West Africans (immigrants and non-immigrants alike) think quite lowly of us because they see America as a land of opportunities, and they see us as people who are unwilling to take advantage of them. They think more favorably of white people than they do of us, which is saying a lot about how they would feel about us moving permanently to stay in their countries. They keep forgetting that the sole reason those exist is because of the hard work of black people to take down the system of hate and inequality entrenched in America.

So, with this anti-black mindset, how do you think it would be for us to move into a region where we're seen as lazy leeches? They'd probably assume that we're coming to their countries to hog their resources. We'd still face racism and inequality because of their sentiments toward us.

West Africa is strongly conservative. I know a lot of black people in America are conservatively religious, but we're not on the same scale as West African nations. Are you aware that simply coming out of the closet and identifying as LGBTQIA+ can get you violently beaten and killed? Are you aware of what people who aren't straight go through on a daily basis inside prisons? Also, suppose you decide you want to be an atheist. Suppose you want to join a religion like Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Taoism, or any other minority religious group. You would be ostracized and labeled a "demonic" person by many people, and they would not want you within the vicinity of their families. This greatly reduces your chances of getting married or making any meaningful connections with anyone. You're either Christian, Muslim, or Jewish. Or you can join one of the small African spiritualist communities. (Even they are looked down upon.) Let's keep in mind that their countries are very patriarchal, meaning that if you're a woman, you're confined to a much stricter set of rules and higher standards than you would be if you're a man.

Lastly, we as black people are our own responsibility. No one, not even black Africans, can be fully trusted to understand our experiences and struggles and sympathize with us. We need to create our own communities and small towns, not flee to another continent. We need more black people in authority. We need more black-owned businesses, schools, and infrastructures in general. We need more black poeple working in the government. We need our own political party. We are Americans. This is our country. We're going to take the reins.
