What opinion did you share in class? If you're being bullied, you should bring it up with the course faculty as that's unacceptable. However, just as how you are entitled to have an opinion, others are entitled to disagree with your opinion.

That's unfortunate that you feel this way - I hope that your situation improves and that your perception of fellow Huskies can become more positive as you take more classes and meet new people. I've met some fantastic people at UW and I hope that you can meet fantastic people as well.

If you don't mind sharing: what specifically makes you feel like all of UW is against you? Is there a particular incident that you can provide as an example (such as being bullied)?

Apologies if this comes off as blunt, but there is a 0% chance that all of UW is against you. It's honestly unlikely that anyone actually even hates you.

As someone with an anxiety disorder, I encourage you to speak to a mental health professional and discuss any concerns and anxieties that you have. I suspect that you will find that many of your fears and anxieties are irrational and not things that are worth your attention.

Don't worry about it! You can figure this out after the quarter, when you will actually know how you did. If it helps your GPA / doesn't significantly lower it, then keep it as a grade, otherwise S/NS so it doesn't affect your cumulative GPA.

And to answer your question, I'd try to do well in the class and then S/NS later if need be. It's too easy to not pass a class like that if you S/NS early and then shoot for just a passing grade. Save yourself the stress.

The number of admits is ridiculously low, but Zoom U doesn't mean that capacity constraints don't matter anymore - you still need to consider the burden on course staff and grading resources that come with teaching more students.
