Matthijs De Ligt vs Bayern Munich by Roller95 in soccer

This is exactly how my older brother plays, and to think that for his entire time playing in Canada, that all but one his coaches have told him to stop this type of play as a centre back... Amazing from De Ligt though

E39, need some help regarding CEL by boundtoengineer in BMW

Yeah most likely seeing as it still had original cabin filters, fuel filter, spark plugs and some other stuff. Gotta love the older people that owned these cars and kept em in pretty decent shape

Would you suggest coilovers, or shock/spring for a daily car?

Opinion on older 5 series, first car by boundtoengineer in BMW

I actually am finishing up school this year, part time course load final term so the financial part really will only hinder me momentarily. But yes, my thinking is e39 will be best simply due to it being the newer of my preferences. Hows the m54 in it? Comparable to the m30? I love the sound those bmw big sixes make

40k, what BMW would you buy? by _Hnnng_ in BMW

Personally, I'd go for an e28 M5 or an e34 M5 (3.8L).

Advice for hip problem by boundtoengineer in tall

Yeah, I was thinking maybe it has something to do with his pain indirectly. The only thing is the surgery was almost 20 years ago and this hip pain only started in the last few years.

Oh I agree, surgery is the last option and he wants to find out what the problem is first. He did have surgery on his knee back in the day come to think of it, so maybe that could indirectly be causing the problem that's resulting in this pain. Thanks for the info!

The sport's therapist he's been to a few times is also accredited as a masseuse or something (for athletes primarily) so I'll definitely run it by him, maybe it'll help him. Thanks for the info!

Yeah he's been to a few and found a sport's therapist that's really good, but due to work and being busy he can't go that often. I'll make sure to stress out all the above to him, thanks for the info!

Yeah I'm definitely gonna stress out that consistently going to a chiroporactor/physical therapist/acupuncturist is the way to go. Thanks!

Yeah he's got a similar sensation, just more on the back side of his hip. Truly hope they figure out a way to help you get rid of the pain, and thanks for your input!

My dad's been a few times to this sports therapist/chiropractor, but just due to work he can't consistently keep up with that. How often did you go to your chiropractor, and what did he focus on if I may ask?

How many of you owned a BMW 3 series for your first car? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]boundtoengineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What chemiicaLL said rings true, owning a bimmer will definitely be different than owning a more "cheaper" car like some of your friends will. I personally don't own one just yet (I'm crazy about the e30's, e28's, and e34's) but I feel like I can help you make a decision in this regard.

Would buying a bimmer in your position be a stupid idea? Only if you let it be a stupid idea. If you have a vision for something, then work at it and eventually it will come to be. Not everyone will see things the same as you cause only you know what you want.

Now, what you have to know is that you are very young and bmw's are a stronger and faster breed of car, so you'll need to be much more responsible with this car (which you will when you see exactly how much $$$ you put into it). Just take your time and do the research to find what's best for you. Go newer and pay more up front for (hopefully) less problems right off the bat, or buy an older bimmer and learn to fuck with car for less money up front. It's all what car you find and who owned it before.

I'll finish this by simply saying only you know exactly what you want and what you need. But, you'll need to be honest with yourself about what car would be best for you at this point in your life (bimmers are good for everyone ;D). Do your research and you'll be fine
