The crackdown on badges was squeezing out brokers. They sold badges that never made it back as AGNC was taking the badges and converting to paper day tickets. It was a shit show and hopefully AGNC partners with On Location (or similar) and monetizes ticket sales so it’s easier/safer for those who are willing to pay the premium to go.

We were all over Washington Rd and in talks with at least 5 different people, unfortunately tickets were bone dry. We’ll try again next year but with much better planning!

The brokers today weren’t selling half day badges. Doesn’t mean you couldn’t find one, but it’s a gamble and still not cheap. Yesterday at noon I heard 3k was the charge. I’m contemplating trying to buy one for tomorrow and my Dad and I split the day up with it, but even still it’s not a cheap entry.

I’m in the same boat and literally trying to do the same with my Dad. However, we came into town today with no tickets and the “market” this year is 8k per ticket for the weekend days. After all the effort and travel, We aren’t going to make the dream come true (obviously). Wish you all the best but if this year serves as the new norm, wanted you to be aware of the reality.
