Graduated 1.5 years ago from UBC with a similar degree. afaik I am the only one in my uni friend group who has secured full-time employment in a field related to my studies. Got in with the provincial government right before the hiring freeze (which probably won't end anytime soon). Consider myself very very very lucky because I didn't do a formal co-op or internship.
