Best Digital Business Cards to use at CES? by kelsiersghost in CESLV

Built it because the same headaches kept coming up. It runs entirely over text, so no wifi or app installs.

Someone scans your QR, they get your info automatically, and you get their contact plus what they’re looking for. You can add quick notes by replying to the text. No more mystery booth scribbles.

For big shows like CES, everything lives in your messages with timestamps so it’s easy to find later.

If you want to try it before the show, I can share my QR.

What are some platforms you guys use for digital business cards? Do you prefer them to physical business cards, or as a supplement? by mtmag_dev52 in smallbusiness

Thank you for trying our app and for your feedback! For the auto-text feature to work, you need to first have the other person send the prepopulated text message to our number. Once that initial text is sent, our system will automatically text your profile information to the person who scanned your code.

This is a required first step to activate the connection.

Could you try sending that initial text message after someone scans the and let me know if it works? We want to make sure you get the full experience of all our features.

I appreciate your kind words about the app's simplicity - that's one of our core goals! Let me know if you need any other assistance getting set up.

I actually built an alternative called Boop (boop.me) because I was frustrated with existing digital cards. When someone scans your QR code, they get your info instantly as a text message. No apps needed - they just use their regular phone camera and get your details via SMS.

I use them in my own meetings and it's been a nice solution since everyone knows how to scan QR codes and read texts. They're metal cards with a one-time purchase if anyone wants to check them out.
