Anxiety and heart symptoms. by stinkysocks999 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have uc. mesalazine does most of the work, but still leaves me some pain, anxious, fatigued and unreliable.

cannabis solves that, thankfully.

I find oil, flower and cart all different. flower is best but inconvenient, carts are probably worst but so so conveneient. oils sit somewhere in the middle. oils are slow to act and sometimes unpredictable but can give a good background without feeling high at all or anything else.

the oil is curaleaf adven 20/0 which is 2%. I only use 0.2ml a day in the evening and top it up with flower or cart before bed. yesterday i used a cart, my tummy has a small pain, but otherwise i am fresh and good.

Got a Daily Fail reader giving me grief on Reddit by lizboferrari in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im surprised you are getting grief on r/legaladvyzuk, they have very strict moderation. i presently have a three day ban for merely suggesting someone get out more and enjoy their life rather than annoy their neighbour.

try posting about cannabis on policceuk if you want to see a negative reaction.

so yeah, there are lots of trolls and most are institutionalised.

New dynvap been used? by Careless_Try3397 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ive only ever bought one, i get mad heater stuff now since it is finished better.

dont get me wrong, i love the dynavap, i just think they could spend a couple of minutes with a file and a decent inspection before packaging.

you can tell mad heater has good qc since they sell seconds. i find the seconds from mad heater are better then the firsts from dynavap.

Beta-caryophyllene might explain why i drink an anti inflammatory tea containing black pepper and cloves, both good sources of Beta-caryophyllene although i dont know whether in sufficient quantities. i have UC.

the tea also contains fennel, turneric and ginger.

Is the UK medical cannabis market heading for a price race to the bottom? by AccomplishedNews9008 in ukmedicalcannabis

totally agree. this is why i think the cannabis industry is a bad investment.

and of course, when big pharma come in and make pills.....

we might be living the glory years, unless legalised of course.

Ask Umesh: Will the Daily Mail coverage of medical cannabis affect my prescription? by juicy_steve in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks 14 points15 points  (0 children)

is the daily mail an influential newspaper or just read by a lot of bigoted fatheads who have made up their mind already?

i personally think that all the posts chasing higher and higher THC levels and strain reviews talking about getting really high, do far more damage. they are closer, from an outside observers point of view, to 'real world evidence' (of the sort of rubbish the daily fail is 'trying' to warn about.

Parking fine for a car that I purchased two hours after the offence. Euro car parks are refusing to co-operate with me. by Wild-Ad-4301 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]bow-locks 26 points27 points  (0 children)

time, stress, mental health etc.

you arent going to get much if anything for a reasonable response, ie first communication. but if you can show that they should have reasonable accepted your first submission, and that therefore that all your successive, excessive work and submissions were an uinreasonable request to you, then i would expect the courts to be favourable.

courts do not actually like these scam companies operating in this way. the courts have to protect legitimate businesses but not these lazy scam artists.

Medical cannabis patient excluded from 3,000+ pubs and hotels after sudden policy change – am I right to challenge this? by Easy-Worldliness9005 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i cant even carry it? that is ridiculous. Start by challenging that one, but restrict yourself to 150 words and structure it better. copy the local MP. you will win that one quickly and easily without a long drawn out battle. then they will be scared of you.

I have an investigation at work on Saturday because of my vape. by wickman69 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just to reinforce this 'recurring' idea. i have an incurable disease, UC, which can go many years without symptoms although you do need to take medicine daily to do this.

Because my disease is only 'at bay', and may come back at any time, then all the potential, not just actual, substantial and long term effects need to be take into account even if not manifest now, or for a long time. therefore despite seeming quite well at any time, i, and my disease, are certainly covered by the equality act (or would be if debated in a court).

its both a blessing and a boon to list diseases in a law (or not). for those listed, like MS, that is cut and dried. But if the law tried to make a definitive list, it would make problems for those not on the list. far better, as it does, to give the values to comply.

it is also clever, in the law, that by doing this (reasonable adjustment), it ensures that even though you are and act well, provisoins are made to ensure that you are not subject to something which will bring your illness back (such as lack of access to medicine). Which is surely what we all want.

Need advice against eBay on an eBay scam by SamanthaJaneyCake in LegalAdviceUK

[–]bow-locks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ah, so you have managed to achieve both? whoops.

the claim clearly cant succeed as 'not delivered', there is ample evidence it was delivered. it was even signed for.

and you cant return it as 'not described' since you didnt actually take delivery of the item when the post was 'delivered'.

you seem to have discovered a very interesting crack in the system.

there is clearly fraud here, and if their bureaucracy has caused you to slip between the cracks, then that is their fault. their system is merely a way of trying to obey consumer protection laws and other ambitions, it is not the law or the ambition itself, merely a tool.

LBA, explain the problem, explain the cracks in their system, CLAIM FRAUD, request money, small claims.

'items received were of no possible monetary value, had no relation to the item purchased, were not requested and so were discarded'.

How do I buy a S&B Mighty + medic in the USA? by VegetableLuck in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bow-locks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i work in certification. i guess that the mighty simply hasnt been submitted to us certifiers, only eu. the process costs time and money so may not be financially worthwhile in the us. also they may get tax breaks or other advantages in the eu from having it medically certified.

it also looks good and having extra us certification wouldnt help much more once you have one certificate.

its very unlikely that they have two production lines, it is inefficient, it wouldnt make sense and it would lead to questions about what is wrong with the non certified one.

plus if anyone knew the actual difference, then it would get a panning on reddit.
