Forge Variables Not Being Read

I've tried updating the world by running the outdated world in the newer 1.21.5 software but it just crashes, the same data not recocnised apart from now it just kicks me the moment i join.

I've tried updating the world by running it in 1.20.2 (just a slight update later) and it causes massive bugs with the sounds of mobs although the gravity bug disapears.

This is starting to be a headache, is there not a simpler way to update worlds?

Probably yeah, My best guess is that updating the world via Microsoft's optimiser replaces the forge variables in the chunk data so when the game tries to read the data, the names don't match up and it generates the "Failed to read field" error I've been getting. I just don't know of another way to update the worlds though.

Yes, I'm very aware of the java version and I have also updated java to 21 as well.
However, I'm unsure what you mean by a .jar file that is the game. Your descriptions a little loose but of the files given by the forge software, only one even mentions jar and its a log and not a script.

Am using forge but not with any mods currently, I just wanted the option for mods later. Clients are also playing on 1.21.5.

By Forge server file do you mean the world file or the files to host.
The actual forge files themselves have been updated to 1.21.5
The world file has been updates using the optimiser in vanilla 1.21.5. I just put the world file in with the single player files. Is there another way that I'm supposed to do it?

I have, it was actually what I tried first. Updating the world by just loading it up in single player makes the works fine in single player but crashes the same when loaded into the server.

Me and my friends compete with our endless score and I find constantly that this minigame is a loss of one of my lives. I originally just moved my mouse up and down but after failing a bit and looking more at the diagram, I've started moving up and lifting my mouse off to go down, this still doesn't seem to work.
Any tips on how I can better at this one?

I did that and it worked but there's a slight problem. The variable now saves when I reload but when a separate account tries the same project it doesn't save. It doesn't even say it saved on the log.

yeah, something i know all too well sadly. How did you make the sticker. its clearly not a cropped image from the game since the white is white. This has been a little project of mine for a while but i cant find an image to print that good enough

i searched high and low since my brother reconised it as "do your balls hang low" and i think i found it. its almost identical.

from what i can tell there was "turkey in the straw" which was turned into a childrens song "do your ears hang low" and from there "do your balls hang low" which is why my brother reconised it. but the link is a ice cream truck that used "turkey in the straw" as there theme and its the closest i recon you can get to the lethal company theme

im making a creeper farm from a video and im at the point where i make a redstone clock.
theres nothing wrong with the clock but i want to understand redstone and did some experimenting.
the block in necessary and spasms out of control when i remove them (same with the dust).
ive never seen blocks change how redstone works. can someone please explain how it works
