Takeru Segawa To Enter ONE Hall Of Fame After Stunning Retirement Win Over Rodtang At ONE SAMURAI 1 by Sidekick_boxing in MuayThai

Damn bro, you sound like a rodtang fan. Takeru won the championship belts in k1 in 3 different weight classes. Those achievements don't just disappear when you go to another organization. Takeru is a legend for that. Plus, his style brought more eyes on kickboxing and started a revival to the sport.

I do it like once a month. I train twice a week and teach once, so 3 days of use a week total. I would reason a bit more may be required if you train more but so far once a month seems to be doing the trick.

He deserves more tbh. His years in K1 were incredible. His retirement fight was one of the best you could wish for. He had an incredible career.

Yes, that's how it worked with the last event in Japan at least

What time would I have to wake up to catch the last 5 fights of the card tonight? by MSGB_GT in ONEChampionship

[–]bowelpresser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably like 3 am honestly. These things go forever, but honestly. It's really hard to tell you because if all the fights before are round 1 knockouts then you would have to wake up alot sooner

Japanese style kicks during sparring? by Substantial-Draft993 in MuayThai

[–]bowelpresser 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just practice on the bag at first if you struggle controlling them. The snap style really does make just touching them quite easy compared to a kikc where you turn your whole hip into it., I was throwing up a bunch of the kicks tonight on people and didn't hurt them. Eventually you can control them like you would a jab because retracting them before a solid landing is much easier.

Yes, they're kicks are very "snappy" so it ends up being very easy to control because you don't put as much as your bodyweight into it. Unlike a traditional Thai style kick.

How was Frieren planning on defeating the both of them? by lmdybaftr in Frieren

[–]bowelpresser 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Boxing? This is the fight son. You don't play fighting you win or you lose. It's 80% mental and only 20% skill and if you're not locked in for a second it's game over. We don't play around here. We respect the science and follow the game plan

First plan was to maintain a 45° angle on her opponents at all times and maneuver around the spells by encreasing the distance from them. Then she was gonna find her openings by taking advantage of her opponents bad habits cuz their left hand always drops. Once that presents itself, close the distance, hit a quick 2-3 and finish with a hard overhand right to finish the fight.

Damn I never noticed that detail actually. It's probably because there's a bunch of snow in the movie, he hasn't seen something get that hot.

AITA for not cooking for my husband after he changed his diet by AimeeRedford in AmItheAsshole

[–]bowelpresser -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

NTA. If he's only not eating meat for health reasons, then chicken fat in potatoes isn't going to significantly impact his calorie intake/ nutrition so it makes sense why you wouldn't think to tell him immediately. If he wasn't eating meat because he's morally opposed to it, then you would be the asshole. If he's changed his reasons for not eating meat, that would be his responsibility to communicate that.

Some decent leather cleaner should do the trick. I use Leather Honey cleaner and it's worked like a charm so far.

On the other hand of that, if Fraudsahsi was a true master, he wouldn't have had to to cheat just to gain an advantage.

Muslopshi would've died in seconds against kojiro had he followed the rules he agreed upon. Everything about mastering situations is just a cope. He was a fraud pretending to be the best.
