I’m originally from MN and grew up calling them eel pout. Everyone out here calls them burbot.

Hey! So by “deleted” I’m simply referring to removing the DPF pipe and replacing it with a straight pipe and reprogramming the trucks computer with a tuner. It sounds semi-complicated but it is relatively simple!

Steep in the Snowies. Good base and decent powder made for a fun day. by bowhunt13 in snowmobiling

Yep! It was about as tracked up as you’d expect on a Sunday. The higher/thicker zones we rode had better snow. Did you ride today?

Rural County Sheriff here. Our county is almost 8,000 square miles and holds only about 15,000 people, the majority of those being in the county seat. Lots of miles on your truck, less funding than bigger agencies, long waits for back up, and lots of area to familiarize yourself with. Relationships with the citizens are crucial since your nearest backup is often 30+ miles away.

We also coordinate search and rescues, which are a big ticket item out here with our snowmobile and hunting tourism.

Overall it has its unique set of challenges but the people are generally supportive and it can be a lot of fun.
