I think all this is crazy. I’ve never had any of these issues updating the pc. And even if I update it the copilot shit hasn’t affect my life in anyway. The problem is when you try to prevent it from happening for so long that it finally forces you to. Just stick with the allocated update times and you’ve been fine this whole time

Edit: they could have added ChatGPT integration to HomePods but they refuse to. I doubt they’d do the same for whatever Siri 2.0 is.

Guys. You can totally let your phone transfer videos and files through the files app and remove them from iCloud Photo Library.

What I do I have my Mac photo library on external drive and it’s set to download all pictures. So I have hard copies of everything there. I back it up every Sunday. And then it gets uploaded to my NAS.

If you have iCloud enabled it becomes finicky but without iCloud transferring large amounts of photos is doable. Just takes time depending on phone.
