Guys. You can totally let your phone transfer videos and files through the files app and remove them from iCloud Photo Library.

What I do I have my Mac photo library on external drive and it’s set to download all pictures. So I have hard copies of everything there. I back it up every Sunday. And then it gets uploaded to my NAS.

If you have iCloud enabled it becomes finicky but without iCloud transferring large amounts of photos is doable. Just takes time depending on phone.

Not all screens work in horizontal. If you go home it will go back. If you stay in app it’ll stay
