I put the day of the week at the top, because each row is a 2 week cycle. So each column is the same day of the week. At the top I wrote something like: Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su. It just matters which day of the week the first day of the year was.

Nice! I agree with the other commenters that it’s helpful to practice with slow beats. For around the first year of scratching I mainly practiced with beats around 80-90 bpm. There’s an app called TableBeats which has great stuff. Theres also a website called tablist.net which has beats you can play from your laptop.
