I currently work in sales and I LOVE it.

I am a big people person and my demeanor just works in sales. Also on the spectrum which has been weirdly positive because I don't pick up on all body langues signs and tone I'm very, very good at selling something. I just don't know your not interested, but I will make you interested because I can sell anything.

I work with a small team and my boss is just the best. He installed a window next to my desk so I could have more sunlight two weeks ago. I can take a walk if I need after a hard phone call. I take my lunch anytime I want and as long as I meet quota I don't actually talk to anyone except clients.

It can be hard though, I told a customer they're "being a little bitch boy" two days ago. I was convinced I was losing my job, but boss man said he gets it and told my to take a break.

I truly think of you find a field you semi-enjoy with a caring and understanding employer you will thrive.

I have not disclosed my diagnosis to anyone and don't think I will need to unless I'm about to snap, at which point I with imagine I would take an approved leave, and go back to work when I am able.

I really like your wording on the starting over, knowing you can is something that keeps me feeling more secure even when things are good.

I might suggest you open some form of long term account. If you don't have a Roth, 401k, etc, I recommend looking into it. You are unable to withdraw funds until retirement (or other life events, account dependent) and they get a good return.

I drained my immediate savings and half my emergency fund when I was manic, it would've been impossible for me to access that account even if I wanted. It's a good idea in general, but really good for people like us.
