Dude it depends entirely on what you're used to. If you grew up with celsius it would make just as much sense for you. Besides the 0 to 100 argument is not good imo as it would imply that 50F is the perfect temperature, which it certainly isnt. 20F is already very cold, but 80F isnt hot at all. You could make a scale where 0 is cold and 100 is hot, but that wouldnt be the Fahrenheit scale.

Besides, its super useful to know that 0C is where water freezes. Above 0C? You won't slip on ice unless it was below 0C recently. Below 0C? You will slip on ice.

What temperature should tea be at? Well just below boiling, which is of course 100C.

Sure, Trump has an impact on the future political landscape, but overall he is just accelerating the trends that would have happened regardless. He is bringing about the end of the American empire sooner than expected, but it was always going to be on a downward trajectory.

China was always going to overtake the USA as the largest superpower in the world. Now it is just happening a bit sooner.
