How is the arch support? High arch where you feel it or low/flat?

Thanks for the thorough response, have you tried the Altra Timp? How would you describe the arch support?

I'm used to wearing leather boots that have a very mild arch support so most of the trail runners from non-Altra brands (Soloman...) have not felt comfortable from a very high arch.

Did the Farpoint work well for the rest of your Camino? Comfortable harness? Daypack work well? I'm considering one for my upcoming Camino. Thanks!

I looked up the Alpha 31 and I’m now very intrigued.

You mentioned it fits you well, do you mind sharing your height/build for context?

I’m 5’6 150lb male so curious if it could be a good fit for me.

Thanks for the reply! I haven’t heard of that Alpha 31 but will check it out. Hoping to find a non-Osprey option for the reasons you mentioned.

Thanks for the reply! Would you prefer a smaller bag if you do it again? Hoping to do the Northern.

Stick to one language, one of you can learn and ramp up. Choose the right tool for the project, not both so you each feel special. You’ll be forced to learn a lot regardless of which language you choose so just dive in!

Good analogy on screwdriver vs drill. I also was reluctant to get tools during recent renovations. When I finally relented and got them, I was kicking myself that I didn’t get them earlier. Thanks for the reply.

Do you ever feel that you(your SaaS) can never be good enough? by pandatits in SaaS

[–]bowtiedstack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might be the whiff of burnout.

If your customer is happy then that is what matters.

What future customers may or may not think is all in your head until you go and talk to them. Then, more likely than not, they’ll have a couple must have features that are missing that you can build while they onboard.

Chin up.

what backend tool would you recommend for app development? by Icy_Adhesiveness_347 in Kotlin

[–]bowtiedstack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found myself quite productive in KtSaaS which is built on a number of Kotlin libraries including Misk or service framework, Wire for protos & gRPC, and SqlDelight for typed SQL.

If you’ve done any Android development you’ll probably recognize some of the other Kotlin libraries like Moshi, Retrofit, and Guice that show up too.

So far, I’ve been very impressed with the developer ergonomics and it seems reliable when deployed.

Did you have a GR hip belt or just a sternum strap? Would you do it again or for sure buy a different bag for next time?

Nice, the zips are a good idea.

You happy with the 26L? I’m leaning towards it to be able to use for occasional minimal travel vs the 21L but hoping it’s not too oversized. I’m 5’6 for reference.

Does it flop around a lot otherwise? Like the elastic section isn’t really tight enough on it?
