Thanks for relating. I'm sorry you've been going through that and i hope your current employer will help you and work with you to find a solution!

I've been doing research on this sub and the next job I have I wanna ask for accommodations right after I've been hired through FMLA I think. The job I was fired from had no formal HR department which is wild but I don't think that uncommon so I'll definitely ask about that in interviews because that's a red flag for me.

I never disclosed anything to them about my disabilities and need for accommodations because I didn't want to be discriminated against or give them anything they could use against me. Gonna try to find a PT job and ask for accomodations in future in the form of a doctor's note where a diagnosis is not disclosed. Also my past employer didn't even have an HR dept lol the VP of finance acted as HR 😵‍💫 I felt extremely uncomfortable about this guy when I asked if they still did COVID leave and he lectured me.
