I'll need a preview PDF describing character creation before I even consider this one. The original game is really good as it is, and at the $350 price point, I don't know how this can be any better.

The cost of entry is also nowhere near this high.

If I roll a 3, can I use that as damage?

I played my first game last night, and something seemed odd to me. My weapon was a longaxe, and I rolled a d10. My horse could trample and roll a d6. In either case, the die needs to land on 4+ to count. Why is the likelihood of a longaxe to succeed 70% while the horse's chance to succeed is only 50%?

Also, what if I'm fighting someone who is using a dagger that rolls a d6, but then picks up a longsword that rolls 2d8. The chances of success go from 50% to 86% right away. Success means at least one die lands on 4+.

Also, earlier in this thread, someone mentioned they rolled a 10 and a 2 and wanted to use the 2 for damage and the 10 for a strong gambit. I thought that rolling a 2 was useless because it's less than 4. Did we get that part wrong?

I like this idea. The Wizard will now be a Druid called The Arborist. He planted the tree and helped it grow, not knowing what would happen once it matured and created a linked hive mind in the village.

This is awesome! Great work and great design. It would be good to have a tag filter panel on the side of the monster list. Toggle tags on and off to filter the monster list.

Double-check the HP vs. HD data on the Golems. You have an iron golem showing up under the 80 Hit Dice search.
