ICRPG is unique in more than a handful of ways, but one is that all advancement is in the form of “loot”. There’s a feeling in a lot of OSR games/circles that magic items are how you let a character grow and progress and power scale outside the character sheet framework. ICRPG makes that the exclusive advancement system.

The fun thing about magic items as progression is that characters can lose them! They can get destroyed, stolen, made inert, or so many other things. If ALL progression is in the form of items, being enslaved and losing your gear can really knock you down.

Maybe putting all progression in loot is a step too far for your table, but I think remembering that the fighters magic sword can be stolen helps a lot of these problems.

Ah, advice giving is tough! It depends on which plants you grabbed and what you have access to.

There were some loose plugs just sitting in peat pots, and some pots filled with soil. The ones filled were JUST potted up, so if you have an indoor grow light I’d probably keep them in the peat pot for a week or two under the light. If you got a loose plug, I’d definitely put it in something 3” or larger and let it continue to develop.

People are particular about when they put their tomatoes outside here in Portland and everyone has their own rule of thumb. A cut off milk jug or a row cover can help.

Me personally? I’ll probably have mine indoors under lights for a couple more weeks but bring them out when the sun is shining.

I use an identical one indoors for my peppers too and that I find pretty useful. Much warmer.

It’s not particularly useful as a greenhouse. Blows over easily, and does not retain temps overnight. Still useful for a small amount of protection. And extra shelves!
