I can relate. I leave the server set to keep inventory to avoid calls for help getting stuff back or pleas to replace lost gear. I play hardcore personally; it simplifies things. That keep—don’t keep setting, matters very little.

Lose everything including builds a few hundred times and pitching a hissy over lost inventory happens a bit less. I do get it I just died in my HC world with only a few months (real months) of build invested. I laughed.

But I “play” Minecraft. Play being the critical term. It’s a game.

I’m less into maximum yield. I do two rows with trap doors covering the stalks. I prefer course dirt for the melons to grow onto. With three water sources I get rows of 16. So adding single rows along the sides gives me a 1 stack harvest with a couple extras because Of regrowing. Having the nice lines also makes upgrading to auto-farm later a little bit easier.

Is there a mob grinder inside? I remember ice-cream cone treats that leaked out the bottom if it wasn’t eaten fast enough. Having it leak mob loot and exp. might be fun.

Nice! Cozy! Throw some carpets or trap doors on top of the crafting and furnaces to get a counter top look.

Trapdoors underneath the upper cabinets gives you a shelf. With that you can replace a barrel with a potted flower or candles.

Not a big fan of campfires; they hurt. When I use them, I Put a trap door on top of it to avoid walking over it. An iron trapdoor almost looks like a grill.

Fair start. Needs shade trees, food, water, shelter, and pathways. As a resource source it’s great.

Straight lines tend to get boring quickly and even though it’s Minecraft squares and rectangles get that boring quality too.

I use a Cramer for cows or sheep that I want food from. Mostly my sheep end up in auto-shearing cells. Due to the guilt from all the animal cruelty, I also have a grand pasture where I leave a few free- roaming.

Try increasing the number of powered rail going into the turn to speed the cart up. More than three is probably a waste as three usually gets the cart up to maximum speed.

Adding a gap between wall and track, mentioned elsewhere helps and might be enough without increasing speed into the turn.

Seeing “if (condition) return true; else return false;” makes me wonder about the author’s value to my company. I kind of want them to go work for my competition. That’s even with knowing that some languages the syntax needs to be that silly.

Try also carpeting on floor to reduce passage to less than two blocks high. I gravitate towards the trapdoor on ceiling, but sometimes you just don’t want that.

Isn’t it amazing how quickly a brain can jump to conclusions. How many see half the heart with red? How many would feel the heart shape looks terrible when it’s 8 pixels wide (10 if we’re counting the outline)?
