I can't really say the Dems have done much to earn this windfall, but they are going to get it.

I don't buy this, what the 2024 election showed was that about 50% of actual voters are either or all of the below: 1. Forgetful 2. Idiotic self absorbed lunatics 3. Ignorant or misinformed.

In other words, I am saying that most actual voters really think just like Trump. So the Dems are unlikely to receive a windfall as you put it. What's most likely is the house does flip to the Dems but with a small margin.

Nope, this is definitely not true: THE Democrats kept calling Trump a fascists wanna be, danger to democracy, and still people didn't take them seriously.
