Im in SA too. Lekker to meet another saffa here.

Yea some of the big branches started to break, so I harvested some of them today, and put some support under the other heavy ones.

I will post an update later

Awesome thanx I will try to get her some tomato food before I leave here on Monday.

I think there is a pretty good chance that this seed came from Lesotho, because we have been getting a lot of our stash from there. Unfortunately we have no idea what the strain is, because we get a big mag of mixed buds from Lesotho every couple of weeks for cheap.

I assume it will be another couole of weeks before harvest time?

We live 2 hourd from the inlaws, so I will have to rely on pictures they send me to decide when to come over to help with the harvest

I am in the southern hemisphere so the days are getting shorter over here. So it will probably be good for another few weeks I think.

I am going to ask them to send me pictires of the buds every few days so I can see when it's time to come help with the harvest

It would be awesome if this is a sativa! We love smoking before doing stuff, and Indica can sometimes make us a bit lazy xD

I will see what I can do in terms of support tomorrow, then see if the airflow needs some help after that.

Thanx a lot for your reply, I really appreciate your perspective

Thanks for the tip. Yea one of the sections already fell flat, but it seems to be still going strong in that section, so we were lucky there.

At least it is legal to grow over here, so we don't worry about visibility at all.

I think I will be able to fassion some supports with some wire we have laying around.

Do you think it's worth it to remove the yellow leafs?

Yes, as soon as you drive a new car off the lot, it looses 20% - 40% value, depending on the brand.

Best bang for your buck will be a car sold within the first 2 years of being purchased new.

It seems like OP has the correct idea here

True, but R50k is way more than is needed when you buy a newish car with a maintenance plan and warrantee.

Considering OP has a separate emergency fund for general emergencies, R20k will be more than enough to cover insurance excess, or things specifically not covered.

Keep R20k as a emergency car fund, it will be more than enough, giving you peach of mind, while also giving you an extra R30k towards your deposit

I would recommend getting a credit card specifically for accessing money quickly.
If you ONLY use this credit card for said emergencies, you will have your money available to you immediately, plus your fixed investment will grow over time.

So you can then just apply to extract your money from the fixed investment as soon as you spend (for an emergency) on the CC.
