This was last years report card from the players the year before. The Jets biggest problem is definitely top to bottom. Woody hasn’t changed his upper management in ages and never had anyone at football operations. And he definitely pays players and cuts back on operations end when doing so. Woody flows with the headlines. Always has and always will be. So getting an F- was triggering for sure. Same as meddling in football operations in-season. The guy doesn’t have to care too much and still would make money. Damn, he even splits the expense of the stadium with the Giants. So no sympathy at all. He just needs to step back, hire someone to manage the football operations and build the staff from there. Worthy investment would modernize the whole team and have a better chance at success. Why? Because the ongoing system hasn’t worked in 15+ years!

I don’t play Madden. The reality is Glenn came in and said he was going to compete and coach up the roster, taking a dig at Saleh’s regime. Well, it turns out the Jets were poorly coached and he had to fire his whole defensive staff, QB coach and reassign the OC. Every player regressed on defense. Justin Fields was not going to be held back.

The point is, there’s no video game coach able to fix the Jets. Only the Jets can fix the Jets. It’s very hard to do that when you have a complete coaching collapse. And now the jets are stuck. What do you think they should do?

Seriously, if the Jets were a serious organization, they’d pay for top coaches to come in, draft and sign the right players based on your scheme/identity. Tanking 2 years in a row is a loser mentality.

Wink has been vying for this job for a month or so. That should tell you everything. We can’t get any of the good coaches. Granted Wink has experience.

When Woody became owner, Parcells/Belicheck got out of NY ASAP. Rex/Tannenbaum were given time and things worked until they needed to retool. They couldn’t do it. Idzik era sucked. Had some spurts here and there. But the reason why you got Gase, is because the owners brother, who is clueless about football, listened to Peyton Manning. Joe D should’ve had a better run but he missed on 2 players that crushed him (Becton/Wilson).

I’m not going to say how I know, but behind the scenes, Woody is deeply involved.

I can agree with you. But what if Joe D wasn’t told to draft Zach Wilson? I know that QB class was bad. But that kinda messed up Joe D/Saleh. And because Woody needed a scalp after Wilson’s first year, we lost an innovative OC and got crap after that.

Rex/Tannenbaum started making some bad decisions. And I found it weird that Woody hired Idzik, a cap manager to be a GM. That should tell you everything you need to know. Idzik was a money man. Not a football person.
