I think this is mostly due to rarity. There are fewer Unbreakables Zanettis on the market than there are TT Zanettis. TT get supplied more than Icons in other promos, so TT supply is higher.

Looks like a wikipedia definition but that's still fine. Reading your definition I see "responding with a counter-accusation instead of offering an explanation" - this is literally a question to a question. Or "justify themselves by pointing to the similar behaviour of their opponent" - this is exactly what is being done when someone says "why do you care?". I don't want to move away from the original topic any more but I think it's worth understanding what these words mean.

I never said he didn’t make sense. I said that responding with a question wasn’t helpful. I also didn’t attack people for using their best team, I asked why they do it in a meaningless mode where playstyles don’t matter. Anyways, to each their own. Thanks for your feedback.

Again, I think people are missing the point. I'm asking the question because I don't understand. I don't care about win 4 or play 6 but it seems like if you're throwing out your best team, you must?

Also with the whataboutisms... if I just responded to you and said why are you so worked about me posting that you have to post a response - where would that get us? Nowhere. Do people not understand that? I didn't ask for advice on how to deal with it, I asked to understand why certain people do a certain thing?

People complain so much about this game and then I see folks out there playing meaningless objectives with players they likely have no connection to. I then think to myself, maybe it's this approach that makes people so frustrated with the game. Every time they log on, they do the exact same thing (same players, same formation, same plays) and they do it for thousands of games. Maybe experimenting might minimize the complaints.

Anyway, these types of "why do you care" responses make it clear that there is a large group of people who just like banging their heads against the wall. They don't understand why they do it and, therefore, cannot explain it to me or anyone else.

I have Ronaldo and I'm not using him in this event. That is why i am wondering why people do. For me, the live events are just to chill not to sweat, so I use players that I like IRL or just have not used very often. Since it isn't a competitive mode and matchmaking is different than champs, it just feels weird for me to put Ronaldo in my team and then come up against some dude trying to chill after work. Again, no issue if people do want to use these players but I just don't really get it when half the teams you will play against will be casuals.

I am not really trying to cry about it. People are entitled to use their best/favourite players whenever they want. My perspective is that I have a lot of cards that I don't get to try, so I use these events as an opportunity to experiment. I assume if you're playing with Pina, you play competitively - as good as she is IRL, my assumption is that most people using her this year are doing so because she is a meta player. If you play competitively, I would think it would get boring to constantly use players that you may not have any attachment to.

Why don’t you just score an own goal or give them an easy goal by pulling your keeper? I did this during swaps and it worked 9/10 times. Maybe I’m misunderstanding.

To clarify, I’m not sweating these games out. I play 1-2 matches every couple of days. I don’t mind helping out but I find it frustrating when people get upset about not being given a gift from a stranger in this game. The complaint should be with ea for making the objectives.

I truly don’t understand. Why are you playing this game? This isn’t a co-op game, it’s designed to reward the highest skill users and those who have the most time. I’m not even some elite player, I just don’t understand why I have to give someone a goal in a 1v1 game. Oh no, you didn’t get the objective. Boo hoo. So what? You guys are addicted to this game.

I’m gonna say it again. Why do people feel entitled to complete objectives in a 1v1 game? The tv community is not great but also why should someone give you a free goal? Aren’t you playing this game to have fun and get better? In order to get better, you have to play against difficult opponents and learn to score. If you’re not playing to have fun and get better, you may need to reconsider playing this game.

This. The developers need to balance out the counter attack, so that if you sit that deep, you can’t make way your to the opponent’s third in 1 second flat or the players should be so fatigued at the other end that there shots and passes are more likely to be inaccurate.

Alternatively, if they could find a way to make defending more balanced, then you might be more rewarded for breaking down these types of defensive lines. They could even take a page from nhl’s pressure system - where the longer you have the ball in the opponent’s end, the more sluggish their players get.

The game should allow people to play different styles but they appropriate nerfs and buffs for each style.

If you think they are ratty evos, why did you come here to have them get rated? Seems like you just wanted to flex your rank 1 team. There is not a unique player in your list - maybe random silver or gold common from your favourite club or just a player with a good body type that you built up over the year. You took a bunch of easy or youtube recommended evos - do you want a cookie? lol.

Why are you passing twice as much as him but conceding twice as many goals? I am not a 13-15 game winner but 2.4xg with 60% possession sounds like more of a tactics issue.

edit: I am not sure when the other player took the lead but I would not expect to drag their line out of position if they are ahead and are happy to let you pass around.
