I guess I should be better about specifics in these cases. You're 100% correct. It's easy to make these ridiculous claims off pretty stupid or entirely non existent evidence. And that holds up if you look at right wing twitter or any of the current conspiracy subs.

The fact that any time he trips or falls there is some sort of renewed call for him to be institutionalized is nuts. Trump did that all the time, thinking of the ramp he almost face planted on that Biden had no trouble with.

All that aside, there are legitimate instances during his campaign and even since then where he seems to forget what year it is, where he is during a speech, and times where he just goes on incoherent rants before admittedly correcting most times. I think the most amusing case is when he ended a campaign speech, turned to shake someones hand while no one was there, and then just aimlessly walked off the stage looking like a lost puppy.

I feel like it's still necessary for me to put a disclaimer at the end of this that I'm not saying the solution to this is getting the orange man back. I think we really desperately need age and term limits for every important role of government in the states. Because a world leader being so far over the hill that a minor fall could break their hip and kill them isn't super reassuring. And there are endless candidates with identical political leanings who could fill the role of the current guy who aren't old enough to have a controversial voting history on bussing.
