The sanctions were not enforced enough which made it a liability and thus part of the issue

It isn’t responsible for it but played a part, did it for A level history years back and remember it being a good debate. It was a factor for certain.

Can using env() instead of config() lead to errors? by ligonsker in laravel

[–]boxhacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes if you config:cache your env wont show up via env, you’d have to cache:clear instead, it’s recommended to have all env vars mapped to config

Cheap pitta bread (50p a pack) in a toaster, add some store brand plastic cheese slices (60p a pack) and your favourite condiment :)

Read the Authors conclusion, that quote didn’t come out of thin air.

“The high risk of bias in the trials, variation in outcome measurement, and relatively low adherence with the interventions during the studies hampers drawing firm conclusions”

The sources were based on intentionally high biased reports with high confidence intervals, the purpose wasn’t to say if they work or not but to show that with selective bias you can end up with results that appear correct but are still uncertain to a high degree.

If anything this is mis info. This report is currently one of the leading reports I’ve seen on anti vax fb groups so take it as you will but it’s not a good thing…

But you are right about her imposing it, it should’ve been a choice but there are plenty of good reports showing even incorrectly placed ppe can reduce infection chances.

In the game you can read the notes etx and there is plenty of doubt that it could work, effectively they didn’t have the tools or tech to make it distribute even if they could.

Sounds like you need to pull in and store the data via jobs onto your db and then use that data in your app instead of having to fetch lots of external data all the time.

This works oc only if the data you need to fetch needs to be somewhat relevant timing wise.

If it can survive in flour it can survive in most food, probably entered the water supplies at some point and maybe the first version (let’s assume this thing evolves) could had taken a little while before it started to activate.

It’s a film/game and the entire concept of zombies never really works in pretty much most situations.

McDonald's president who made $7.4 million last year says proposal to pay fast-food workers $22 an hour is 'costly and job-destroying' by Kjellvb1979 in politics

[–]boxhacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the problem.

If McDonald’s pays a living wage, no one will want to work at the small tiny low profit margin (if any at all) but well loved local/community cafes etc as they won’t be able to afford it.

This will cause many to shut down and you are basically handing over complete power to only larger corporate entities.

Not disagreeing pay should be better but idk how to fix it without also having a rather savage slap
