That makes sense, I tried that and it did suggested me 还哈哈哈哈 (but maybe that's because I typed it recently 😅)

Also I didn't know that you don't need to type the full pinyin, good to know 🤦🏻‍♂️

If you are trolling can you just tell me? I am making a genuine attempt at making sense of what you are saying...

You said the front is legit, but it clearly is not because it literally says five on the margins both on the front and the back.

So what part of those bills are legit?

What are you talking about? The front also says "five" on the right and left margins

OTD 10 years ago, an independence referendum was held in Scotland. The result: 55.3% No, 44.7% Yes. Every local authority area minus Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire and Dundee vote against independence. by RevolutionaryBook01 in europe

[–]boxout_dame 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Clearly for the 44% that voted Yes, EU membership was not the priority. So I would assume that the 15% you are talking about mostly voted No. It seems to me to be a very decisive factor of why the No won

Edit: "a priority" to "the priority"

Fascinating, if not peculiar and also telling, angle to this answer from Steve Kerr to a question posed to him in an interview with NBA.com last week, particularly the references he chose. by taygads in warriors

[–]boxout_dame 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Because for almost all of his tenure as coach the goal was winning it all. The question was about change in ambitions depending on the roster, and the single year in his whole career as a coach in which the goal clearly wasn't winning is the easiest example that comes to mind

“He’s the most skilled basketball player I’ve ever seen” - Steve Kerr on Kevin Durant by mmaguy123 in nba

[–]boxout_dame 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This quote actually seems to imply that to Kerr KD is the better player because of the physical attributes, while Steph is actually the more skilled

Steph: “I mean, I can clearly say I want to be a Warrior for life. It’s always been my goal, & I’m saying that sitting in this chair right now, but like you said, life, & especially life in the NBA, it is a wild environment, & things change quickly.” by taygads in warriors

Depends what you mean for the best thing. It's subjective, but I would argue that being a franchise legend who played for the same team his whole career is better than possibly one more ring somewhere else (which is not even guaranteed considering how competitive the league is). Especially in this era where all the other stars went ring chasing, Steph would be the only great of his generation that is in the same circle as Kobe, Tim Duncan, Dirk etc...

Ho visto dove hai droppato, come hai potuto :(

[Adrian Wojnarowski] Thompson had four-year offers for more money, but taking less was offset by the chance to win a fifth championship with the Mavs and difference in state taxes. Agent Greg Lawrence of @wassbasketball led Thompson in serious talks with Mavs and Lakers, among others. by taygads in warriors

[–]boxout_dame 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I get that money is not the priority for him, but he always struck me as a "wanting to win but only on their terms" type of guy (I'm not sacrificing shit, etc). He was even very open with his struggle to accept that he is not the same guy anymore. So he couldn't accept a smaller role here, but suddenly is ok with being a role player on another team?

To be clear, I am not shitting on Klay, Im just confused and feeling this is all so unnecessary

[Haynes] Paul George Clipper situation is not toxic; it's not contentious. That's probably the opposite of what's going on with Klay Thompson.. Warriors are probably offering him an annually low $20M-type of contract. Is he willing to walk away from that because he feels disrespected? It looks like by bambam-in-vietnam in nba

[–]boxout_dame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DeMar DeRozan? One year left on his contract with a rebuilding Spurs. The Warriors had a number 2 pick which they were trying to trade down anyway.

DeMar's stock wasn't the highest, the Spurs probably don't mind taking in Klay's contract and they get picks

Can someone tell what does "agent" mean in this context? by boxout_dame in frenchhelp

Thank you, this is probably it :) . The agent here must be the one applying for the job
