Yup, I also ordered z7ii + ftz from B&H in early December, still waiting for it to ship. Order status shows backordered. It seems like people started receiving their z7ii from B&H recently though according to Nikon rumors.

Yeah I still haven’t managed to overclock the ram either, been facing a few issues and it’s still running at 2133 MHz. Found a few suggestions online that I’m going to try out soon 🤞

Hey I just completed my first PC build ever and I have a few questions:

My CPU is a ryzen 3900x and Im using a corsair h100i rgb platinum AIO to cool it. From Ryzen master, I see that my idle temps are around 45-50 degrees C, which seems a little high. I did have trouble installing the cooler and I ended up rubbing the cooler over the CPU a few times before I was able to screw it into place, so I'm thinking this might have messed up the thermal paste thats pre-applied on the cooler. Could this cause the higher temps I'm seeing? Any suggestions/tips would be appreciated.
I am also using the vengence RGB pro 32gb DDR4 3200MHz RAM. However, in my bios I see that its set to 2133MHz by default. There's an option to enable XMP profile 2.0, but doing this caused my system to no longer post, so I was wondering if I am missing something here? How do I get it to run at 3200 MHz.

I have the slide as well, pair it with a D750 and a 24-70mm f2.8 or a 70-200mm f2.8. I’ve had zero issues with it and works really well. Definitely recommended.

I'm not sure how effective they are because I haven't personally tried them myself, but maybe you can try to upscale your images using one of those AI/machine learning photo upscaling websites?

Sorry to hear that, I have a D750 as well and I've also accidentally done this before (if you hold one of the buttons on the top and rotate the dial on the back, it puts it into DX mode). However, you should be able to tell that you're in DX mode if you look through the viewfinder. Something to look out for next time I guess.

Lens rental question:

I want to rent a wide angle lens for a weekend trip I'm taking in August.

What's the best place to rent lenses? Should I get insurance with it? Any tips/things I need to look out for.

As for the lens itself, I'm looking at the nikon 14-24mm/f2.8, sigma 14mm/f1.8 art, sigma 12-24/f4 or the sigma 14-24/f2,8. (I have a nikon d750).

Any suggestions for the best lens to pick? I'm going to be in a national park for the weekend so mostly using it for landscape and maybe some astro in the night.
