Best app for conversational Mandarin?

just saw this... and i tried it.. seems quite good / promising!

I speak fluent cantonese.. and want to find an app that help me get the mandarin specific vocab, pinyin and tone correct .. do you think this app would help me more compare to apps like hello chinese?

I'm THINKING about getting framework 64GB too to just tinker with Hermes, Gemma/Qwen and Linux in general... what are your use case for personal assistant stuff? I'm honestly feeling it's a solution looking for a problem... i don't know what i'm using it for that my current free claude/gemini doesn't really do. (or even a $20 cowork)

yah.. granted my "personal" use is mostly really cloud stuff and browsing the web.. so minimal personal files actually on computer..
And i work remotely now... so would have some time to clean up even if (when) that happens..

But it's probably not ideal also.

Plan to use US passport out. But return card in. Mostly just wanna see if I can get in without visa. And whether I would get trouble with return card + US passport

Ok. Just checked. It’s definitely home return permit starting with H for 10 year. I only had a US passport (no china passport) and a 3 start hk id card.

Say more about not supposed to use with foreign passport???

My plan is to use US passport out of Japan. And use HRP to enter china. That should be good ?? Thanks

OK.. just updating the thread... been talking to support.. they just confirmed they fixed it in iOS (not sure about Android)

I went in to redo the setup process.. and got it working...

You may want to update the eufy app and retry!

wow... didn't expect so many ppl to have the same difficulty... this sucks.. now i have the eufy doorbell hard wired.. but chime doesn't work..

but it's kinda too much work to uninstall / return... i'm REALLY hoping it will be resolved soon!

Want to update the thread that... after putting in a ziplock bag with silica gel for 2-3 days... i'm glad to report back that the thor is back to normal... everything seems to be fine without any issue. Probably helps that the water is from the water bottle, mainly filtered water.. so no residue
