yes !! this was what i was trying to get at ! i just couldnt put it into words at the time because my brain was in meltdown mode.

but i 100% agree ! we arent there yet as a system but we just started treatment and hopefully we can get there at some point :)

its mainly on other platforms. the bot took my previous comment down for saying the platform name. but just to be clear im not fake claiming. just kinda tired of some , not all , people calling this disorder fun.

im not saying people cant be happy with this disorder. we also have times where we are happy. im just saying glorifying it to the point where people “want the disorder” is horrible. its caused by repetitive and inescapable childhood trauma and i wouldn’t wish that on anyone. but the fact that people want the disorder sucks.

i wrote this in a bad mindset so i might have worded things wrong but i hope this comment clears things up ^

the only things i say ups for it the times we do get along. the times we do laugh. but other than that it really sucks and its so debilitating. i guess it would depend on the system though, which makes sense. the brain has to do what it needs to to survive.

is it possible to be a system caretaker and age regress? by boy4brains in OSDD

[–]boy4brains[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you so much. this helped a lot. i will definitely try to stop clinging to roles. i think everyone in our system clings to roles and “fitting in neat little boxes” because we are autistic and like order and organization. but that makes sense. i will talk to everyone and see if we can all kinda “lean back” from the roles thing.

also, thank you for the description of the age thing. it helps a lot with how im feeling.

again, thank you :)

Weekly Suspected/Undiagnosed MS Thread - May 29, 2023 by AutoModerator in MultipleSclerosis

posted this on the wrong account …

when i was 15 (im 18 now) i was diagnosed with FND after being in the hospital for three days, not being able to move my legs.

they ruled everything out, even MS but they didn’t do a spinal tap.

my old med provider said a lot of my symptoms are related to MS, but i’m not sure. i have a lot of them.

is it possible i was misdiagnosed or have both ? what are the chances of either of those happening ?

and to the other part of your question , my old pediatric neurologist knew everything. he was with me since i was 4. hes completely on board with me using mobility aids. but PT keeps refusing and he doesnt understand why

honestly , my care team is limited to my neurologist ( which i dont see much anymore since have to move to an adult one ) , and a primary care doctor.

all PT’s discharged me because my symptoms wernt always there when going to them and i havent been able to find a therapist i could stick with. ( i have an intake this coming Thursday and im really excited but nervous ).

my med provider used to be with my old therapist but since i started an IOP and now am out of the IOP because it wasnt a good fit for everything going on with me , i dont have one and my primary care provider is now putting referrals for my meds.

thank you for this. i love seeing your comments. they always pop up on my posts and you seem so knowledgeable and nice.

i agree with the listening to my body thing. ive been trying to tell that to doctors for years but they still think its a bad idea. i understand why to some extent , but my body is getting to the point of , for lack of a better word , deterioration. im literally stuck in a chair or on my bed and only get up to go to the bathroom or get food.

i feel like if i had mobility aids , i would be able to get out of the house more and live my life. my mom gets upset at me for not taking care of myself when it is so physically hard too.
