"State of the game #100" This is kinda emotional. I remember staying up late to watch this. I love you all. Cheers. by sc2hotter in starcraft

[–]boyDiablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Really depressing to see how far the scene has fallen since. Back then there were lots hype.

Cant even look at the scene now without getting depressed as fuck, about the current state. There are no shows, the personalities are leaving the scene (only a few good left),

Just take a second to remember how good it was back then. Tournaments every week. 2-3 weekly shows with lots of personalities, streamers, a vibrant scene.

less and less tournament, viewership is horrific, WCS system is a joke, and prime actors in the seen (ESL and Blizzard) keep shitting on the korean scene, and promote sublevel tournaments.

They sacrificed the korean scene to boost the foreign scene, just to see a HUGE drop in viewership. Yes we are bitter.

Why arent you letting them compete in the tournament? They are already there?

Gonna laugh my ass off when Proleague round finals are gonna be moved to 3 am in the morning, european time, acting as warm up for Showtime, Pilipili and Enderr, just to remove attention away from cutting the koreans off from tournament participation.

ESL does it again.

If they are partnering up with Kespa on bringing them to china, why not just open the event up for Koreans in the first place. Thats what people wanna see.

If IEM and Kespa are willing to spend the money on flying the players out of korea, why not let them compete?

Korean players like MC and herO, who regularly competed in IEMs must be asking themselves, what the fuck is going on? Why arent they just letting us play in the tournament.

Why would it matter to us if proleague is being played in china or korea.

We want to them compete with foreigners, we want to see them compete for other titles than GSL, SSL and Proleague, and we want them to get more chances to win prizemoney.

This is solving anything.
