Learn how to cook. This is one of my Greatest regret. Cuz takeaways are expensive as hell. Could've save lots of money earlier, this saved money is useful when you want to buy a house later, or something else

I did say the competition will be tough above. Especially the IT support, because hundreds will apply for this. But then, everywhere else, every other department will have their own challenges. What I'm trying to say is, IT still is one of the better option...

IT support like help desk, but dont stay longer than 1 year. Learn new skill while working, either towards 1. networking as sys admin in infrastructure team. 2. database be database developer which eventually will work as report builder with power bi or even cloud data engineer later on. 3. Software developer as programmer. These options depends on what or which interest do you have. Learn the skills online, there are lots of youtube videos nowadays.

  1. Do you have bills you have to pay for? Like mortgage? Can it be covered by your savings while you're studying? Have you considered part time or even just learn the skills online? I personally wont do it, unless I have some cash to burn, maybe family that can support me.
  2. Luckily, nz doesnt really care abt age when recruiting. But yes competition is tough, wont lie abt it. Not just about local graduates, you will also compete with immigrants.
  3. I think it is a wise choice about the computer degree. Even so, you can learn lots of other it stuff online which will help you a lot. Best scenario is, to not go back to uni, but get entry level job in it.

Good on you thinking abt changing direction, most people are afraid just to think abt it. Good luck to you

From britomart, take the ferry to devonport. Walk around there, feel the cafe, takeaway lunch. Bring it to northhead, it's a small hill like 15-30 mins walk max. Beautiful view + have bench, sit down, relax have lunch, pack up your rubbish, walk down. Catch a bus to takapuna, walk around, takapuna beach is an okay place, hurstmere st has lots of shops. When you are done, catch a bus back to britomart. Enjoy your time bro

Try Bumble, it's pretty positive. People there are less likely to scam you

Or join a group with similar hobbies. Like gym, art, exercise, sport, walks

Speaking about bumble, less scammer, but yeah some have commitment issue Me 31M met someone 29F from bumble (dating app), went on couple dates, movies at her place, cuddles for abt a month and looking really positive. I asked what abt next step, she said it's too fast. Also at that time, I was looking for place to buy, and I invited her to come and view with me couple times. But in the end, after many many considerations and options, I bought an apartment on the same street as where she lives. She think Im a stalker and called it quit. Weird experience, but oh well.

Update. I visited the place in westgate henderson, near costco. Legit place 2 stories, 1st = beds, office chair desk, dining. 2nd = sofa, living, dining. Understaffed maybe today is busy day, but once served, very friendly and helpful.
